    Introduction

When the pump light passes through the fiber, the rare-earth ions in the fiber absorb the pump light, and its electrons are excited to a higher energy level, which realizes the population inversion. The inverted particles transfer from the high energy level to the ground state in the form of radiation and release energy to output laser light.
